Logged in to MS account, still get asked to log in...?

I have my Surface Pro connected to my MS account, so logging in on the Surface logs me in on the MS account. Now I was prompted to try Office 365 but when I go there I get asked to login to my MS account. I am very careful with unexpected login prompts, so now I wonder if this is as expected. Am I not already logged in?

Hello OppfinnarJocke, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Even if you are signed in to Windows with your Microsoft account, you will still have to sign in at a separate Microsoft website. :)

Hello Brink, thanks for the welcome :)

So I guess what I'm not getting is that I am asked to sign in to the same MS account that I am already signed in to. At work, for instance, I log in once and then I have access to all the different web sites we are connected to. Not to mention Google... Maybe it is a good thing that MS do not track the users as much as others do (if that is the case), but still... in this particular case I expected MS to know I'm me, after all, I'm already logged in.

But anyway, it is legit then, so I'll try it. Thanks.
