Solved Deleting the 4 Code Login

I recently bought a laptop with Windows 8 on it. When installing and opening it suggested I put in a simple 4 digit code to simplify logging in.
This I did but as I am the only user of the laptop I find now is an unnecessary step for me.
I would like to remove this step. I`ve been to the Settings area and can change the code but not remove it.
Is this possible and is so can someone suggest how?

If you mean a PIN number, then you could use step 7 in the tutorial below to remove it to only have your password left.

To change the Pin number I need to go to Microsoft Account. I know this sounds odd but to open this A/C Microsoft wants me to put in my mail address. The address they have for me tho is wrong. My new address is not recognized and I can`t receive mail from them on the wrong address.
How can I open my A/C then, so that I can delete the Pin as you detailed.
