Deleting folders in C:\Users

Hello. I recently had both the guest and the built-in "Administrator" account enabled, but just today I decided to turn them off. Now there are two folders in C:\Users (Guest and Administrator), and I was wondering if I can delete them. I probably will use neither ever again, but I do not want to mess up anything. I just wanted to get rid of some space.

Thanks.

Hello Sean,

Yes, you can safely delete them if you like. They contain the user profile of that account. If you delete them, then the profile will recreated from default again if you should ever enabled those accounts again. :)

Thanks! :)

It warned me that some were system files, but those are fine to delete too, right, since the accounts are disabled?

Also, I was able to delete guest, but I cannot delete Administrator. It refuses to allow me to delete a specific folder, which is C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries. I cannot get into the libraries folder. It says access is denied. When I went on advanced security settings, it said you do not have permission to view or edit this object's permission settings, even when I entered password for UAC. Seems I need another way to delete it. I also tried "Take Ownership" (http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2814-take-ownership-add-context-menu-windows-8-a.html), but it did nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks again.

Note: I am an admin on the computer.

Yep, it's safe to delete. You could see if the free program Unlocker may be able to delete it for you.
