how do I get rid of the password sign in

My computer is a private household toy so, how do I get rid of the password sign in thing and just turn it on and start using it as I was doing with my previous windows 7?

When I set up my fairly recent reinstall of 8.1, it 'seems' to insists that you sign in with a Microsoft Account. But instead of throwing your coffee at the screen, look lower down, there is a light blue option to 'sign in with a local account' - this is so that the pc opens password free too.

If its not there I think it might come up after you try and bypass the screen
