    Administrator or not??

    Hi Guys

Showing my ignorance again sorry, but >>>

    1) am I administrator or not

    2) how do I find out.

    3) how important is it or not.

    4) if it helps you help me, I like my pc ( only I use) very simple, and as far as I know, I use local account, don't need a M/S account as I don't use/need the apps.

    Hello Frenchman,

If you like, you can use the same options in the tutorial below to see what type of user account you have. The information at the top of the tutorial can help explain more about each type.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Yes, but for some things you may need to use "elevated admin privileges", usually from right click menu "As Administrator" or by setting it from programs (file's ) options. You may want to make another account though, for trying things without affecting Admin account or making it system wide.
