Hello GD4E1,

When you are signed in to a standard user account, Task Manager will open unelevated.

When you are signed in to an administrator account, Task Manager will open elevated.

Hope this helps some, :)

I'm not sure it's possible with administrator accounts.

However, a standard user will not be able to elevate Task Manager without having to enter an administrator's password in the UAC prompt first.

Trying to limit what an admin account can do is an exercise in futility. Any limits you might try to impose can be reversed by any admin account. When you give admin rights to anyone you have given them the exact same rights you have. This is by design. There are any number of ways for an admin user to start an elevated Task Manager. You cannot stop them all. In reality you can't stop any of them.

Unless a standard user has access to admin account credentials he cannot start an elevated Task Manager. There is nothing you need to do. But give him admin privileges and he can do anything.
