    Your account has been disabled

I tried to remove the "other user" screen, but while trying to do that I lost my admin credintals, so I tried to fix it by going on safe mode then I assigned a password to the administrator account... And now when I try to login it says "Your account has been disabled"

    Please help

Hello sale7, and welcome to Eight Forums.

If you like, see if doing a system restore using a restore point dated before the first issue may be able to quickly sort this out for you. Your passwords will be changed to whatever they were at the date of the restore point.

System Restore - How to Do in Windows 8

    Hope this helps for now,

    Hi,

I can't even login to the computer.

Also I'm not sure if I have any restore point.

In that case, see if you may be able to boot back into Safe Mode, and check to make sure that the built-in "Administrator" is enabled. Afterwards, see if you may be able to sign in to it.

I did enable the built-in Administrator, then I assigned a password to it, after that it startrd to show the"Your account has been disabled" message.

    I'm sorry if I wasn't clear.

    Thank God!

    I fixed it. I don't know how .. But I did.
I rebooted the computer and started clicking F8 and F9 .. And it took me to a restoring point window.. Then I restored the system, I just clicked next and it started restoring.
    Thank you Brink for replying.

    Great news.

When you click on "Reset Password", it's looking for a password reset disk (USB) that would have been needed to be created earlier, and connected before clicking on "Reset Password".
