I'm having a problem setting up a PIN code to logon to Windows 8.1 and would appreciate some help please.
I've linked mine and my partners MS accounts to Windows and as we use password generated passwords consisting of random characters, numbers etc, it would be so much easier to just use a PIN to logon to the computer. However, every time I click the option to 'Add' under PIN in the Sign-in options page of PC Settings, nothing happens. The cursor busy icon flickers but no new menus or options appear and I'm ultimately unable to access the settings.
Could someone suggest a way to overcome this issue please?
I've tried logging off/on, rebooting and restart the credentials manager service but there's no change.
Thanks for any help.

It's not too helpful though.
