When checking Windows Email it keeps prompting me to create a Microsoft Account, I don't want to create a Microsoft Account... I can hit next then cancel and get around it but it's extremely annoying to have to do that every time I check my email!!
See screen shots if needed, thank you for your help all!

Hello Cowlag, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Unfortunately, all modern apps (ex: Mail app) that use a Microsoft service require that you be signed in with a Microsoft account to be able use them.

If you like, you could either use a 3rd party email client program (ex: Windows Live Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc...), or sign in to your email account online in your web browser. This way you could still sign in to Windows 8 with a local account.

Hope this helps, :)
Shawn
