I have just installed Windows 8.1 Preview.
I store all my user folders from win7 and win8 on a 2nd drive so i point my win7 and win8 users to that location instead of within the OS drive itself, saves me having to set games up twice etc etc.
My problem is that i went to change the location of my win8 Documents folder to my D:\Documents like i do in win7 and that went fine, then i made the mistake of pointing win8 videos folder to D:\Documents and now both Videos and Documents in the win8 user folder point to the same location. the weird part is when i change win 8 user videos to point to D:\Videos it also makes win8 documents point to D:\Videos and i can't stop it from doing this.
It's like bot the win8 Videos and Documents folder share the exact same properties and changing one's target location changes the other as well whether i want it to or not, this ends up in creating double folders of the same one copying 30 gig for no reason and quite frankly piddling me right off.
Is there a way to do a hard reset on the user folders location and making them as new. and yes i tried restoring the folder properties but they continued sharing the location i point only one to.
