Auto sign-in doesn't work if remote connection enabled

I would like for my computer to sign in automatically with my Microsoft account, however, when I enabled Remote Desktop Connection (for I would also like to be accessed remotely), the automatically sign-in function doesn't work, because sign-in screen is now set by default to log in with local account rather than Microsoft one. However, I do not possess one, and if I tried to create on and make it sign in automatically, the screen said wrong username or password. Which I don't understand at all

Hello Amphor, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Are you saying that your Microsoft account is not available to select to have Windows sign in to it automatically at startup?

No, it is available to select, but by default the "local or domain account" option is selected on the start-up screen's sign-in options. When remote Desktop was off, there were no "sign-in options" at the start-up screen at all and everything worked like a treat

I haven't change the settings of my MS account at all, i just enabled remote desktop eature, which messed with y automatic sign in since Remote Deskop feature appears to be needing some kind of local or domain account

Go ahead and change the settings to set it again for your MS account to see if that may help.

You can sign in to your MS account with RDC using your email address for user name and password.

No i dont think you understood me. I am not trying to remotely auto-login to windows, it's just that "normal" windows wouldn't let me auto login. "Go ahead and change the settings to set it again for your MS account to see if that may help." set what again to my MS account?

I do. I just threw in that extra info on RDC. That's all.

Here's where you need to set your MS account to be signed in to automatically at startup.

I do have RDC turned on, and I'm still able to set Windows to sign in to my MS account automatically at startup.

Please go through those steps to turn off, then turn back on to setup auto sign in at startup again to see if it may toggle it to work again.
