    Return to LOCAL account

I was forced to sign on with my MS account when installing 8.1.

Now I want to return to my local <username> account and
not be prompted to log-in at boot up.

How can that be accomplished, please? It's set for NO password.

This should get you back to local:

Local Account - Switch to in Windows 8

Hop it helps you. Good luck.

By the way, one can bypass that.

When it forces you to get the account, just click on the create new account button.
But don't enter anything - at the bottom there is a use existing account button.
    I used that method.

    EDIT: typo fix
