Continual prompt to access store account

I am continually receiving a pop up box requesting me to 'Enter Network Password' for my Windows 8 Store account despite inputting the correct user name and password. Using the same 'user name' and 'password' I could access via the web.

I have in fact closed the account but still get the message every 10 minutes or so whatever I try

    Hello Stefos,

If you closed (deactivate) your Microsoft account, then you would either need to activate it again by signing into the account online, or sign in to the Store with a different Microsoft account.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Thanks for your suggestions Brink though unsuccessful and ended up doing a ' System Restore' to get Store back!

Still the 'Enter Network Password' box with link to Store regularly appears...

Is the "Enter Network Password" box anything like this below? If so, then this is for your network connection's log in credentials instead of Windows Store. Did you check the "Save this password in your password list" box?

I get an Enter Network Password prompt - Outlook - Office.com

Hi Brink, The 'Enter Network' etc... link was the correct one - thanks. The problem doesn't occur if I use another email client so it must be Outlook related, so will reinstall it when the mood takes me..

I'm happy to hear that you narrowed down the source. Please let us know how it went when you're able to reinstall it.
