    Accidentally changed Start Page Icon for Picture Viewer


    I have accidentally changed the Icon for the Picture Viewer on the Start Metro Screen.

    I opened a Scan image and by default it used the Picture Program that was bundled on the Start Screen.

    Somehow I made the Scan the default new icon, which looks awful. How can I get the Icon back to its original?

    If you mean your user account picture, then the tutorial below can help show you how to change it back to what you want.

    User Account Picture - Change in Windows 8

    The default user account picture images are in the hidden system folder below.

    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Default Account Pictures

Somehow, the Folders icon disappeared from my Start screen, without which Windows 8.1 is almost unusable. Now I can't locate any folders and can't see anywhere else to access them. Terrible design!
Twinui and picture viewer in Software and Apps
How do you close these! For example if you view some pictures.. there are no menu's or options that i can find to close it. Esc doesn't even work. Are there alternatives to use to view pictures? Have already replaced twinui with adobe reader.
I feel very stupid, but somehow, when I was installing an arabic keyboard for fun, I managed to set the entire system language to it, instead of just the keyboard layout. Using the thing on the task bar doesn't help, and I can't figure out how to reset it. Can someone help me, please?
Now I have no administrator rights and can't log in as an administrator to change the account type? I'm assuming there's no real solution here other than delete and reinstall?
I was trying to dual boot windows 8, and i accidentally changed my disk (or drive?)i only have one on my laptop) to dynamic and now i cant install it!!! plz help. idk how to get dynamic driver converter for free, and i cant do the thing where you delete it and stuff (or i just dont know how)
