deleted the administration user and it was the only user.

    hello,
i have just one user account which is the administrator (the one that established when you install the OS,
recently i've changed the roll of this account to guest account (by entering the 'control userpasswords2' in run),
after that i restart the computer, i found that the administrator account has been changed to guest account and its the only one exist. so now i can't install any new program, even i can't create a new user account because it needs administration privilege.

i can't enable the safety mode because it needs administration privilege
i can't enable the default administration because it needs administration privilege
i can't modify the regedit file to add new user because it needs administration privilege
even command promote i can't access because it needs administration account

hahahaa even system restore needs administration privilege
so what i have to do now except formatting the computer ???
    please help me.

    Hi Nadal,

    1. Boot from the installation or recovery disk.

    2. Follow this tutorial to create a new administrator.
Important! On step 12 use commands from here.

    3. Log in with new admin and use lusrmgr.msc to remove the old administrator from guests.

I didn't realise until today just how insecure Windows 8 user security is!

Time for me to look into encryption (Bitlocker or TrueCrypt?) again I think.

    David,

There's nothing new here, and not only about Windows:
Law #3: If a bad guy has unrestricted physical access to your computer, it's not your computer anymore

But yes, encryption is a good way to prevent unauthorized access to your files.
