disabling user acct

I have to send my acer w510 tablet pc to the service center. The repair shop called me to get my password. Oh gosh, they cannot repair my pc without entrusting to them my password. Is there really no way to repair those w8 pc without passing that user acct? Maybe there must a way that I can disable this user acct before sending my pc to the repair shop.

They could easily reset your password, or do a factory recovery of your tablet to restore Windows back to factory conditions.

However, it could be easier and less destructive to have access to your administrator account with it's password while trying to repair it.
