Changing Account Name

When installing my Windows 8, I put the PC name as "Usmaan" and the account name as "UsSy" but after the installation and having used the laptop a bit more.. I changed the account name to "Usmaan".

The problem which I have is that although the account name has changed to "Usmaan", I still see the name "UsSy" every now and then when doing some development or when I for example check the path of files.. it will says C:\...UsSy...file.txt

I should also state that when I was installing Windows 8, I tried specifying the account name as "Usmaan" but it complained that I cannot have the PC Name and and the account name the same.... hence why I put it as UsSy.

How do I change the UsSy name to Usmaan permanently?

Changing the account name does not change the name in the profile. There is a good reason for this. The problem is that the registry may contain references to the original name and if these were not properly updated there are likely to be application problems. Best not to change this.
