unable to sync my devices.

First post here and I'm hoping you can can help.

I have a Samsung NP350 laptop and Asus VivoTab Smart Tablet. Both are Windows 8 devices and I sign into them both using the same hotmail address.


Using Homegroup I can see both sets of files on both appear live.


I have toggled the relevant switches in sync settings.


Despite all of the above, none of my settings appear to sync between the devices.


Can anybody suggest any possible solutions, or more likely anything I might have missed ?
