Actually, I'm not confused about them -- I understand the difference. However, when I first set up this machine, I did the Microsoft account thing and got a local account name of XYZ. There's a folder there C:\Users\XYZ\
Then I decided -- no, I really don't want that at all -- so I switched to a local account, ABC. There's now a folder C:\Users\ABC
I do see there's some things showing modifications to files in C:\Users\XYZ though since I switched. And I see no way of ridding myself of user XYZ from the control panel. I wouldn't expect to see any modification there though, that's confusing me.
Once I get files moved over properly from the old system (do NOT start me on that one), I'm planning on deleting all user files out of C:\Users\XYZ.
Would I be safe deleting that entire folder?
