How can I disable a user account ?

How ? I tried mmc command on start menu but it didn't work out from this suggestion Disable a user account

So is there a way to do it?

I mean temporarily disabling a user account not delete it.

    Hello ecevit,

What happened when you tried that method for why it may not have worked?

You might see if you may be able to use one of the options in the tutorial below may be able to help disable a user account.

I couldn't see any user listing on left panel for trying the solution on the link.

Thank you. It solved the issue and showed a new way to enable/disable administrator account.

This forum is great for getting answers and sharing on windows 8.
