Disabled login screen but still asked for a password

Hello all,
I have a Windows 8 laptop. I went into netplwiz and unchecked "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". When I restart the PC it still asks me for a password. Is there another place to turn this off as well? Does anyone know why it still asks me for a password? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a nice day.

Try again. You may have just entered the password incorrectly the first time by mistake.

I went into netplwiz and made sure that "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" is unchecked. I also made sure that the password on wake feature is disabled. There is no screen saver password so that is not an issue. I appreciate the assistance. When I restart the laptop it still asks for a user id and password. Am I doing something wrong here? I mean, there is a way to make it so when I start the laptop it goes right to the desktop without asking for any credentials correct? Please don't misunderstand me, I am not in any way upset with you but this is very frustrating. Is there anything else I can do?

Sorry, I meant for you to start over with the sign in automatically at startup tutorial incase there was a mistake made when entering the password the first time.

Check the box, apply, uncheck box, click OK, type in password again.
