Cant Login to Local Account after Windows update

as you can see, local accounts are present on this computer
but I cant log in to them. Please help me fix this thing.

If you have not already, then you might see if restarting the computer may sort it.

If not, then you could try doing a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before this happened to hopefully fix it.

My Win8 is out on a date right now. Can't use it for awhile. Can he create a new local account while logged on to an MS account?

Should be able to, but that doesn't address the issue with the other existing accounts.

Let's see how it goes after he tries what I posted above first.

PS. I can't do system restore anymore, because I installed some updates.

Right, I guess there would be no difference in accessing his files regardless of what type of account logged onto.

Please let us know how it went.

If you have system protection turned on, then you should still be able to do a system restore. System restores are also helpful to quickly undo an update since a restore point is created by default when Windows Updates are installed.

No luck in doing system restore, because update was installed in the beggining of January

In that case, you could refresh Windows 8 and still keep your user accounts.
