Password Problem

hey guys,
i am running windows 8 from some time now, but some weeks ago i lost the powercable of the computer and didn't have any way to use my computer. when yesterday i finally got it back the password of my windows 8 randomly changed , i tried with the real password i entered when i first got windows 8 but that didn't work. every time i try to log in it sais : "the PC is offline. try to enter the last password used on this PC" i tried any password that it could be but none works
please help i will need the compuer real soon

Is this for a Microsoft account?

If so, make sure that you have the computer connected to the internet, and try entering your password again.

If you still get this error, then you can use the tutorial below to reset your Microsoft account password online at Microsoft on any computer. It may take a bit before the password is updated after you confirm it from the email sent to you from Microsoft.
