Hi Guys,
I'm new to this forum (as in this is my first post) so please be gentle with me if this has been answered before.
So anyway I have a standard account with admin privileges, turned off UAC etc... but it doesn't seem to be elevated all the time for example I still see the "admin shield" icon next to some programs on my desktop. Most of the time I have to right click and select "Run as Administrator" from the popup menu and also Windows 8 still asks me when something needs admin mode and do I want to continue.
I have activated the hidden (true) admin account on my PC and when I log into that everything is elevated and great, no more prompts etc... which is what I want. But the problem is it looks very basic, I want to be able to transfer all my settings from my standard admin account to my true admin account, is this possible? I've tried going to system->advanced system settings->user profiles to copy the account across but the copy button is grayed out.
If this is not possible is there any way to make this standard admin account the full type which is always elevated?
Hope someone can help me, I'm getting very annoyed having to give permission for things I want to do all the time.
Thanks in advance
