    Password need help

I have a problem, my local account for my computer is asking for a password. I originally had a 4 digit pin but got tired of doing that all the time and decided to remove my pin. I rebooted my computer and now it asks me for a password but I had no password added to begin with. Is there any way to reset the password other than reinstall or third-party programs (if possible). Such as being able to enter cmd somehow.

Hello Asdhi, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Are you able to sign in by leaving the password field empty, then pressing Enter or clicking on the arrow?

If so, then you could use the tutorial below to be able sign in automatically to your account at startup.

Log On User Account Automatically at Windows 8 Startup

    Hope this helps for now,
    Shawn

Well, you had to of had a password for your account in order to be able use a pin number with it. Do you remember creating a password for your account?

Try entering the password you had set for it as a Microsoft account to see if it may still work.
