recover m$ account username?

Hi, this is weird but I originally signed into windows 8 using a M$ account around Oct. 27 when it first came out. Eventually I decided I didn't like it and switched to a local account. I have since forgotten the name of the account I made since I used it for only a couple of days. Is there anyway to recover the name of the account?

The reason I ask is because I remember M$ added one of my email accounts that I actually use a lot to the M$ account. I remember seeing them import my email from the other account into the M$ account. For me this means there is now an account POPing my regular mail that I don't use and have forgot about. Kind of a security problem.

In the interim I reset or refreshed so I can't find any traces of the M$ account name on my computer. The one thing I do have is an email from microsoft in my regular account from October.


Is there anyway I can use this to track down my M$ account name??

Oddly enough I remember the password still. doh

I also have an another email with a microsoft account security code???? However, nowhere is there any evidence of the account name.
