Hi,
Good day. One of my nephew (kid) used my wife computer (windows 8 Pro) this morning and the entire windows 8 is now locked up.
We can still key in the password (logon screen) and login as normal. However the problem is after we login, we only see 1 blank screen and 1 task bar. Windows Button does not work, Metro UI does not work, even if we use shortcut key to access my computer, Windows will prompt us (You do not have sufficient privilege) and worse control panel is all empty.
I had been figuring out was going on for the whole day. We did Scandisk & etc , all does not work.
According to the kid, he told me that what he did was only, keying in many times of different password (because he does not know my wife password) in the logon screen and he shut down the computer after giving up.
Does anyone knows whats wrong? It is because windows has some locking function in place? If yes how can I deactivate it.
Thanks Guys
Regards
Edmund
