    User account auto-login

Every time Windows 8 boots, the system tries to login as the last user account that was used. If the account has a password, the user will be asked for a password first thing when the system starts up; if not, the system will directly log in to the user account.
Some users in my house don't want to have a password and I have to log out of their accounts and again log in to mine every time I start the computer after they used it. I'd just prefer to start with a tiled user list, in a similar fashion as it was in Windows 7 (or after you log out in Win 8).
Is it possible to disable this auto-login feature? The only way I found involves the system asking not only for the password but for the username as well, which is hardly satisfactory. Thanks!

    Hello Ben,

Unfortunately, the only way is to have each user account password protected. Otherwise it will always auto sign-in to the last user account that signed out if it's not password protected.

I just put a password on all the accounts. The login screen still doesn't show all the accounts on start up, it only shows the last logged in user and asks for a password. Is there a way for the login screen to show all accounts (like in Windows 7)?

Ah, no that won't do that for you. Instead see this for that.

I'm working on a tutorial for it now to help make it easier. I'll post back later with a link to it when it's finished.
