    hi Brink,
sorry if i make some mistakes in my language ...it's not my native language
    Here my problem:
i can't get into the built-in administrator account , have tried several method you discribed without success
When using the method 1("net user administrateur /active:yes" i get the answer "the command completd successfully" (in frech of course) it seems that i get into the administrator rights but i can still go into the "metro"...??
So i think i'm not into the built-in administrator account.
    Any idea to help me?
    Thanks in advance

Hello Birza, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Are you able to sign in to a listed "Administrator" account on the sign in screen? If so, then that's the built-in elevated Administrator account.

Elevated accounts like the built-in Administrator are not able to open and use modern apps by design for security reasons.

What were you wanting to do?

    Birza,

Are you able to install the program while signed in to your normal administrator account (not the built-in Admin)?

Is this below where you downloaded the Samsung SmartView app for Windows 8 from?

Sorry, but I'm just trying to find out exactly what you were wanting to do.

If it's to install the program, and you are able to do so from your normal account, then that would be easiest to do.

After you use one of the options in the tutorial o the first page, do you see Administrator listed on the sign in screen?

Is your current user account an administrator type?

User Account Type - Change in Windows 8

You should be able to install the program in any administrator user account. It doesn't have to be done from the built-in "Administrator" account.
