    excuse me For my post.
    Hello asus,

The System Image feature is currently available in all editions of Windows 8 for now.

It appears that when the Windows Blue update is released in the rumored June, Windows Backup and System Image will be removed in all editions of Windows 8.
And replaced with what? I'm sure MS is not going to remove a feature without replacing it with something that 3rd party developers can make a fortune off of. Not their style. Look at Windows Defender.
There's currently File History that basically a replacement for file backups.

There's also currently the option to create a custom refresh image that's an alternative for a system image, but it's only for the OS instead of the whole hard drive.

However, a free 3rd party program like Macrium Reflect Free would be a good replacement to use as well.

This way you will not mess up your current installation. Afterwards, you could just remove the restored to drive, and connect your others back to be back right where you left off at.
I thought of that. But I thought there's a simpler way.. hahaha.. thanks very much again Brink.
Unfortunately, there's no fool proof way of making sure a backup works until actually trying to restore it.
Hey Brink, with all my guts, I did an image recovery using the image I created from your tutorial and it is a great success! thank you!

I don't see an issue there. You might see if using the free program Macrium Reflect may work better for you. Be sure to include at least the same drives in the backup.

I suggested Macrium Reflect mostly since the System Image feature will be removed from Windows 8 when the Windows 8.1 (aka: Windows Blue) update is released.

It should work well for you though.
