    i tried to run cmnd prompt in the advance start up option but i got an error code 80070490..........

    At what point do you get this error?

    Are you booting from a Windows 8 installation DVD/USB?

    no..... i m trying it from recovery option.......i dont have windows 8 installation dvd......when i select the advance recovery method.....i go to troubleshoot then i select cmnd prompt...then i get the error 80070490.

    Sorry for the late reply bipin.

    If you have another Windows 8 PC that you could use, create either a System Repair Disc or System Recovery drive. Next, boot from it to see if you may be able to open a command prompt at boot to enabled the built-in Administrator account.

    While the default "Guest" account cannot be password protected, an existing password protected user account that was changed into a guest account using an option below can have a password.
    This is wrong, the default guest account can be password protected, at least in windows 8.1.

    Simply activate the guest account, then from a user with administrator rights do the following:
    start > run > type "control userpasswords2"
    then highlight the guest account and click the "reset password" button
    type a new password and then the account is password protected.
