As a test, create a new user account to see if you are able to change it while signed in to that account.

this is on the new account that I created.
it now shows/ gives you the ability to change the lockscreen,
however, when you change it, it doesn't actually work, and it is the same one that im trying to change on my side?

Did you lock (Windows+L) the computer while signed in to the new account to test it?

If not, then you may have been looking at the default lock screen that shows when no user is signed in.

It sounds like something has been corrupted. It's looking like you may need to refresh Windows.
