Internet Explorer 11 Modern - Show Address Bar and Tabs

How to Turn On or Off "Always show address bar and tabs" in Modern IE11 in Windows 8.1

information   Information
In Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1, Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) is available in two UI views. There is a modern (Metro) IE11 on your Start screen, and a desktop IE11.

By default in the modern IE11, you must either right click on and an empty space, swipe up from the bottom edge of your touch screen, or press the :winkey: +Z keys to see the address bar and tabs. The address bar and tabs don’t cover up important page navigation menus and search boxes found at the top of most sites. And with all the browser UI at the bottom, you can focus on one part of the screen for all your browsing needs.

Users may prefer to see their tabs and address bar on screen at all times though, particularly on larger screens or on devices primarily using mouse and keyboard.

This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off to always show the address bar and tabs in your Modern Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) in Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1.

Shawn,

This is a great tutorial. My question is though how do I turn off the "3 dots" in IE 11 modern that allow a user to open the address bar and navigation? I am in kiosk mode, and need to lock down the browser so that the address bar and navigation can not be accessed.

Thanks!

Brett.
