Hello Paradox, and welcome to Eight Forums.

You could use the free program This PC Tweaker (click on the gray Download button at link), to select the folder in the program, and uncheck the Show inside the "Folders" category box at the bottom to do that.

If you like, you could also remove the folders from "This PC" using the tutorial on the first page, then add your user folder to the navigation pane using the tutorial below.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    Welcome here
to help you, you're really going to have to do better than that. You haven't mentioned any problems, just that you have them. I cant see how this registry file, could affect any programs at all, the two aren't related. Filling out your computer specs might help also

    Whats the issues you're having?

Hello thelittlelim, and welcome to Eight Forums.

You have some other issue at hand here since it would be 100% impossible for the .reg files in this tutorial to cause that.

I would recommend to do a system restore (at boot if needed) using a restore point dated before you had this issue to hopefully undo it.

When I open programs such as games or whatever, it says "your hard drive is full!" or "something went wrong while trying to create a directory" ... that kind of stuff. I'm also having issues with system restore now. Would you be opposed to chatting with me on something or calling?

So is your hard drive full? Because it would account for allot.

I would suggest starting a thread for this in the "General support" forum, and posting what you just did above.

It's saying that I possibly don't have permission and stuff. I'm on the administrator account. Also, I backed up my registry before using this one, and now it wont let me merge that one. "cannot import _____: not all data was successfully written to the registry. Some keys are open by the system or other processes, or you have insufficient privileges to perform this operation.

Other things like dropbox aren't opening on startup, nor will it open when I click on it.

Oh, I have plenty of space on my HD. This problem only arrived when I opened the registry file, then restarted the computer.

Nothing should require more than 30 gigs to run.

Honestly, everything was working before I opened the reg file.

I'm not sure how you could of possibly thought that was caused by the .reg file in the tutorial.

You're going to need to free up hard drive space.

Were you able to do a system restore at boot instead?

If so, then please create a new thread in the General Discussion forum area since this is unrelated to this tutorial. The .reg file will not and cannot cause that.
