Windows To Go - Create in Windows 8 Enterprise

    OOPS, never mind. Should have kept my mouth shut );

    Naturally, the instant that question was posted, it resolved itself. It seems that when the disk on the system is accessed, it finds the correct drivers and automatically installs them.

    Don't you just love it when that happens. You'll probably need to install the mouse drivers as well.

    So I installed WTG on my external HDD and it seems to not be booting as a Windows To Go Portable Workspace.

    I checked the PortableOperatingSystem registry entry and it is correct. Any ideas?

    Did you do this on a Windows 8 Enterprise edition?

    It looks like you also need to do this below for Windows To Go on the Passport.

Hi there worked exactly as "It said on the tin". Ran the .exe file from the ISO (using the virtual mounter system in W8.1 (W8 has this too). Gave me the option to keep applications and settings (Didn't on RTM). Installed fine -- you need to DISCONNECT from the Internet at Ms account...

Well, I did it, I'm running the Enterprise N version of 8 on my puter and for all those that are wondering about details... Whoa. :shock: I've yet to be able to active it, I doubt I'll be able to, but Start Screen patterns are a glorious ridiculous! I've seen a few screenshots of them, wow!...
When I install Windows8 I need to have/create a windows live account. What alternative do I have when I want to use windows 8 in an enterprise. Can I just use a AD profile or en exchange account?
