I turned on my PC, launched google chrome from the start screen, and it had windows 8 mode turned on, also my search engine was swicthed to yahoo, I did not do this myself, I never go into the settings place. Then I tried opening Google from the desktop and it just brought me back to the windows 8 mode. Then some time passed with my browsing. And eventually I closed google, then maybe 20 minutes later I opened it again and everything was back to normal, it changed itself back to desktop mode, yahoo was still set as my defult browser but I was able to change it back. Any ideas what happened, why it was running in windows 8 mode then changed back? All by itself without any action from me?

Did you use the hamburger(settings) in chrome and maybe accidentally hit "Relaunch in windows 8 mode" or may use chrome synced from a tablet or some other touch device?

No I didn't, the last time I used google I was able to just exit out of it normally like on the desktop, plus it changed itself BACK to desktop mode after a while, without me doing anything.

I don't have my PC synced with anything

What's odd is you say it switched your search engine. Downloaded any software lately and maybe forgot a tick mark(Hello download.com) and maybe got something piggyback?

No, I havn't downloaded anything at all, before this happened. Today though malewarebytes did find an unwanted program called flvplayer-chrome.exe.

I litrally used my computer normally, then the next day turned it on and my settings were changed, then somehow magically by itself the setting changed BACK to normal without me doing anything

No new software, I even checked my downloads. I did notice that mcafee found a program called flvplayer-chrome.exe

I believe that since Google owns YouTube that flvplayer-chrome.exe file/application would be needed for playing flash/.flv videos found on YouTube.
