wireless signal boost to help low signal from cable tv ?

My brother-in-law suggested splitting off a cable to my hobby shed. So I wouldn't need WiFi out there.

I don't see how that would fix the drop out during the afternoon of any usable connection from the ISP, which is cableone.net.
Again, you are mixing two things up. Your wifi has nothing to do with your cable signal for the modem. Same thing with the signal to the modem & node you are on, has nothing to do with the wifi for your LAN.

I know it has nothing to do with it.

Then why keep posting it. I was a little uptight earlier. Due to I was drugged up after getting a Migraine Cocktail at the dr's. Three days of having it. Was getting me on my last nerve. So do not take it as if I was chewing you out.

Just try and keep the two subjects separated. So that it is easier to follow. It would be nice if we could have a sub thread within a thread, when dealing with this kind of issue.
