When sniffing around my system in "Credential Manager", I found an unknown set of credentials known as "virtualapp/didlogical" which after a vague research, I deleted. CHECK THIS OUT...

After I deleted it, I finished my work and shut down my machine. A few hours later I went to login to my laptop using the same login credentials i've used since system setup....I COULDN'T LOGIN!!

After a tiny shart, I had the wherewithall to google "lost Win 8 passward" and found https://account.live.com/password/reset to reset my password. During login I was able to click on the wifi icon (bottom left) and connect to the internet and presumably my computer updated my new password via Microsoft's Server, and I logged in with the new password.

This. Is. Baffling.

And whats weirder...Once I fired up my computer and went to Credentials Manager again, the mysterious "virtualapp/didlogical" was back.

1. Why is my personal login connected to this weird "domain-like" service? My PW should be stored on my local machine NOT a Microsoft Server. This isn't a corporate environment where my personal login password is supposed to somehow be corporate knowledge.

2. How did this mysterious credential get recreated without my consent!!

Thoughts?!?
