So, I was doing a Windows Update check and it found an optional driver I could install. It's a ASUSTEK AMDA00 Interface. What exactly is this and is it safe to let Windows update it for me versus me manually finding the drivers on Asus' site and installing them?

After a small search on the internet I found some people with blue screens coused by a crash of this driver so I consider it an important one. So I should listen to your pc and keep your version of windows.

How come I can't find the drivers manually?

Ow, wait. I did not understand your question correctly. You said your windows wants to update a driver. I thought you said you wanted to update windows but one driver would be not compatible with the update. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

There is a place on asus.com were you can browse the drivers only for your machine, have you checked that?
And you said: " is it safe to let Windows update it for me"
I should let windows do it. That is supposed to be safe.

Well, I can't find it on ASUS' site at all, even when I type it on Google.
