Hi Shawn,

I was signed on with a local account and went through steps 1 to 5.
When I click on "Sign In" I get a little whirling thingy for a few seconds and then nothing.

Any ideas?

Jumped through all the hoops, but no go.
My Microsoft account works fine, but I prefer using the local account since it does not need a password.
I can access the store with the local account but if I try to install I get "Your purchase couldn't be completed" and code 0x80070032.
The local account cannot see any of the apps installed by the microsoft account.
Maybe I'll need to seek out a source for the original Windows Solitaire package versions of Tri-Peaks, Pyramid, and Golf.
All of the new versions I've tried are awful.

Unfortunately, for all that, you will need to be signed in to a Microsoft account, and not just one in the Store while signed in a local account. :(

Guess I'll just need to switch users when I want to play TriPeaks or Pyramid.

So do I understand that I can't use HBO GO on a user account on the same machine that also has a Microsoft account?

Hello Swampdog, and welcome to Eight Forums.

You should be able to just log in online to HBO GO in your web browser (ex: Internet Explorer) from any user account on the computer.

It doesn't matter if it's a local or Microsoft account. :)
