Hi guys/girls
I finally bit the bullet and upgraded to windows 8 last week after having purchased it about a year ago. Install was fine and everything seems to be working. However, that was until i tried to downlaod an app.

At first it gave me error code 0x800706ba, in all honesty i cant remember what i did to stop that error. I do know however there were 15 app updates which i accepted and they worked fine, i cant find them now i don't even know if they all worked. After this I'm now getting the error that my connection is too slow. I know that my download speed is over 20mb so that cant be the cause. I tried disabling avg internet security 2013 but that did nothing. My windows firewall is on My clocks synced to windows, synced my licenses, Ive I'm using a live account,Ive even set my bandwidth limit to 0%. All i want to do is play solitaire!

I also cant access my app s in the store either, it takes forever loading only to tell me there's an error and to try again later. This is also what happens when i click on app updates.
I've tried refreshing but it tells me that there was and error and nothing was changed. When i click on find solution it just takes me to the desktop and does nothing.

is there anyone who knows how to solve this.

Em.

Try a System Restore to right before you started having this problem, if you have an install disk you can do it from the disk, even if your Windows 8 is not booting up
