How to Delete Internet Explorer Browsing History in Windows Phone 8 and 8.1

This tutorial will show you how to delete your Internet Explorer browser history (recent sites), cookies, saved passwords, and temporary Internet files from your Windows Phone 8 or 8.1 phone.
OPTION ONE
To Delete All Browsing History, Cookies, and Temporary Internet Files
1. Open the App list, and tap on Internet Explorer. (see screenshot below)
3. Tap on settings. (see screenshot below)
4. Tap on delete history. (see screenshots below)
5. Tap on delete to confirm. (see screenshots below)
Note
In Windows Phone 8.1, you can check or uncheck to include deleting your saved passwords.
Note
6. When finished, you can return back to Start if you like.
OPTION TWO
To Only Delete All or Selected Recent Site Browsing History
Note
To select sites individually for deletion, your phone must be running Windows Phone software version 8.0.10211.204 or later.

1. Open the App list, and tap on Internet Explorer. (see screenshot below)
2. Tap on the More button at the bottom right. (see screenshot below)
3. Tap on recent. (see screenshot below)
4. Do step 5, 6, or 7 below for what you would like to do. (see screenshot below)
5. To Delete One Recent Site
A) Tap and hold on a listed site you want to delete. (see screenshot below step 4)
B) Tap on Delete, and go to step 8. (see screenshot below)
6. To Delete Selected Recent Sites
B) Check the sites you want to delete, tap on the delete button, and go to step 8. (see screenshot below)
7. To Delete All Browsing History of Recent Sites
B) Tap on delete to confirm, and go to step 8. (see screenshot below)
8. When finished, you can return back to Start if you like.
