Windows not able to format pendrive !

Hi, i have HP 8gb pendrive when i try to format it it shows windows was unable to complete the format.
When i try to open it shows insert a disk .
How can i format this pendrive ? or is it corrupted ?

How does "Disk Management" see it ?

Hi,

Give the following a try:

1. While the pendrive is in
2. Right click on 'This PC' and go to manage
3. In the computer management window click on Disk Management (see left hand pane)
4. Right click on the removable disk (Make sure you select the correct drive / letter)
5. Select Format

You must have mistyped it somehow.
BTW, Unallocated ====> meaning you only need to right click and initialize it as simple volume.

In Charms search type Diskpart and than in the Cmd window that opens type only: list disk

nah,i executed all diskpart commands properly and easeus partition master is also giving error while formatting and creating partition.
I think my usb stick is dead
