Solved Windows Mail App says Gmail Needs Attention

I am having an issue with the Windows Mail App. It says Gmail needs attention. I have uninstalled the Mail app and reinstalled it, I have removed my account, and it still won't work right. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, it would be appreciated if I could have some help.

Without getting into specifics, maybe the problem is not with Windows mail but with Gmail?

I use Gmail with my Windows mail and have never seen what you are describing.

I would start with and check your Gmail account to make sure everything is ok and secure with it, Gmail accounts are spoofed and hacked everyday if you don't have strong passwords on them, which could very well be the problem.

I fixed it. I disconnected from the Internet, went to Mail, and then to accounts. It then let me delete the Gmail account while I was offline. Then, just reconnect back to your Internet connection.
