Windows Game Developers Didn't know about DirectX

Well something is wrong then, just tried on an intel laptop and works there too. How's your drivers all up to date ?
When starting the game, did you try different resolution ? Tried "windowed mode. ?

Well, don't know what to tell you any more, only other thing I have is Android.

Well see if that works or visit HP might be something new.

My Intel drivers are up to date. I'm checking to see what HP says.

The only driver update I have from HP is a a Synaptics TouchPad Driver. (And a BIOS update)

Doubt it, if windows works all other should work. Considering symptoms, I would blame video drivers.

Well, I posted a new thread concerning this problem in the Graphics Card section of the forum. So I'll just wait to see what they say. Thank-you for all your efforts!

Just want to give you an update. The guys over in Graphics Card said that the Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator is very, very low quality and that is why I don't get video, they don't understand why the game doesn't just crash!! So I guess I'll tell those developers that it was just my GMA.

Doesn't look like very demanding graphics on that game, I'm getting up to 300 fps on my system, even faster than first GTA for instance and that one runs just fine on a Athlon 3200+ (socket 462 @2500 real MHz) and 5200 AGP video card.

I'll have to tell them that. I also remember playing the PC version of GTA San Andreas on this very computer, the resolution was rather low, but I was still able to play the game without any crashes! That was before I reset from Windows 8.1 to Windows 8.
