Windows does not let me install generic Intel drivers

For gaming purposes, I have been trying to install latest version of Intel generic drivers on my laptop (Aspire ES1 512) since ones manufacturer (Acer) provides are severely outdated. I downloaded latest version from Intel's download center and tried to forcibly update my drivers. I always end up with Windows message telling me selected driver does not support this version of Windows. (Picture > Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet ) . I m 100% sure i downloaded and picked correct driver.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
Thanks.
