Windows Defender is turned off & isn't monitoring my comp

How do I fix this issue? No matter where I try to access the Windows Defender to tun it on it won't allow me andj ust shows me this instead:

Avast is taking Defenders place and turns it off.

Malwarebytes can run side by side but Avast must be turned off or uninstalled for Windows Defender to be enabled.

Running 2 antivirus programs at the same time just gives you performance issues and other problems. Most likely they wouldn't work normal.

To prevent this, Windows defender is automaticly disabled whenever another antivirus is installes.
