For me, the wishlist for Windows Blue was:

1. Option to choose Start Menu and Start Screen
2. Aero Glass (RP-style, no stripes) included as optional.

Feel free to show your wishlist for Windows Blue!:D

Hmmmmm..........

Better Tetris like Start Screen, where I can LITERALLY put a tile ANYWHERE I bloody feel along the tile grid.

Baby tiles, but sizing options for them.

I say to allow a custom background image on the Start Screen, if you use a wide or panoramic image, Windows will automatically use appropriate parallex scrolling.

More coloring options for Start, 20 isn't close to being enough.

Maybe a File Explorer metro app?

Flatten down or replace the FREAKING Aero iconography! Ain't nobody got time for that! It's such a vestige of bloated UI design that shouldn't be in Windows 8.

All Apps screen should be better grouped. I don't like how you have to read up and down alphabetically then move onto the next column. It should be more easily viewed from left to right. Desktop app groups on that screen should be in separate columns so they're easily found and viewed.

IE 11 Start Screen pins should be more like Windows Phone IE pins. When you pin a web page to Start on Windows Phone, you will get a medium sized tile that is just an actual screenshot almost of that webpage. Combine that concept with putting the favicons in the bottom corner of the tile, you will get a neat little "window" into that web page on your Start Screen.

Move the overall design away from simple modern design to lush, rich metro design like the Zune Software. Once you use the Zune Software, you shall understand what I mean.

Apps should be able to be freely adjusted when snapped together. I want to be able to use the Desktop and IE 10 immersive in a 50/50 snap view. Or, ReddHub in a 60/40 snap with Weather. 33/66 doesn't cut it for anything.

Apps should also NOT be simpleton apps like on android and ios, they should be more modern, metro designed apps of Desktop counterparts.

Oh God, Xbox Music just needs to be blown up and redone. What an epic fail that is. Windows Phone's Xbox Music+Video app is a prime example of how to do a metro media app.

Maybe focus on hubs? Windows Phone does this thing where an app like...Panorama or Cinemagraph apps get grouped into the native Photos app. So you open Photos, swipe left, and you can see your Photo related apps right there versus cluttering them on the Start Screen.

That's what I can think of off the top of my head.

A smaller kernel that is faster, more stable, and easier on the battery.

Separate desktop mode from the kernel, so it is more like an emulator running on top of Windows (Like XP-mode)

Ability to use more than one metro app on the screen at the same time, without forcing one into snap mode.

...and I suppose a better means of accessing desktop applications, with proper folder support. Maybe make the right-click Admin menu into a pseudo start menu.

An always open taskbar like device on the Metro start screen that displays all open apps so you can just one click to switch between apps. Would greatly improve the ability to multitask Metro apps.
