Leaked Windows Blue build 9364 reveals multiple Live Tile sizes, same-width side-by-side apps

Notable adjustments include larger and smaller Live Tiles, enabling a bit more Start screen customization, along with an updated side-by-side app view, which boosts multitasking efficiency by displaying two applications with matching width. Other additions include a Play option under the Devices panel, a screenshot button on the Share sidebar, and Internet Explorer 11, which comes packaged with the new OS.

also saw even better skydrive integration. still a work in progress as they use a number of placeholders.

I think the French site has only a 32 bit Leak --- seems odd really -- what laptops are sold now that are only 32 bit so why on earth would the 32 bit version leak before a 64 bit version -- actually Ms might be better off in any case not even bothering with 32 bit OS any more - just release security updates for the 32 bit system until it's phased out completely.

There is a 64 bit version (also French) out in the Wild - but that's totally fake as it was uploaded at the beginning of February well before the latest build was "leaked". It's not build 9364 either.

If you DO mess around with torrents -- use a VM and remember with these early builds most of them from "The usual sources" are likely to be fakes possibly with all sorts of "unofficial Extras" in them.

I'm just downloading to an isolated machine and will test on a VM and report back what I see. (This reminds me of the fun we had with leaked builds of W7 a few years ago !!!).

PLEASE DO NOT PM for Links as I won't give them -- do your OWN research if you want to mess around with this sort of stuff.

I think I nearly downloaded a fake, it seemed legit but by the time I started downloading it didn't feel right so I cut it off. I might wait a bit longer, I'd like to get a hold of it though.

I'll wait till I hear from you and a couple of others, I'm playing around with Linux at the moment anyway, not that I'll ever move over its just fun to play around with and see what they're doing.

Eventually I want everything Windows 8 or Blue or Nine or whatever, PCs, tablets and phone, I'm getting sick of all this Android and IOS. I want everything the same, work on one PC then finish on another or a tablet.

IOS and Android have been good, they've given me an insight into what I really want, and that's everything the same. I'm sure Microsoft has made the right move, surely everyone will eventually come to the realisation that this is the way.

Reliable sources say SP1 for 8 in 4th quarter this year. 9 or whatever named for 4th quarter 2014.

I'm with BillW, Cokie, and others here. An OS familiar across multiple devices. It only makes sense.
