Hi Folks:
I have a copy saved of both the x86 and x64 versions of the Windows Blue Consumer Preview. I am interested in running Windows 8.1 eventually, but I have a couple of questions:
(a) If I were to set my CPU clock and date back awhile, could I still install the Preview to try out for a couple of months?
(b) Even I were successful with (a), would there be enough major differences between the Preview and the finished product that it would distort my impression of using Windows 8.1 on a regular basis?
In other words, would it still be worth installing the Preview to get a "real" impression of Windows 8.1?
Thanks for your input everyone.
